ZY 140 Interface Eternity (La Louvesc) restart Sept. 2014
September 1998. Around 2014 I was on the beach at Mimizan Plage reading a tatty Wallace Stevens. A print of this, my text, fell out, kept as a page marker. I thought: this is tuned sculpture in a way, and had a light-bulb moment of scanning a blank piece of white paper to make a Jpeg file, and then using the type function in Photoshop to type my text to paper...this after the light-bulb experience of watching a DVD of Guy Bourdin photographs in Windows slide show, projected onto a wall in Arles. I realized: this a way forward, and the need to Jpeg image file my entire oeuvre. I miss France very greatly, blocked by my 'red flag' risk. Vive La France! for though Guy Bourdin was in fact Norman
